🏗️ Field Deployment — Tarco Stud Welding of PSR Rails
Why PSR studs are preferred for Tarco stud welding: The drawn arc stud welding process allows operators to weld headed shear studs to base rails or directly to embed plates in one single-sided operation — no holes, no back-side access. Typical field procedures follow AWS D1.1 and manufacturer WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications). PSR stud diameters from 3/8″ to 3/4″ can be welded with standard arc stud welding equipment (Nelson N800i / Tru-Weld CD systems).
